Year 4 pupil Lydia is an aspiring author.  She is part of the Stamshaw Junior Story Writing Team and is the first of our pupils to have a story put on the library shelves for other pupils to read.

Lydia worked hard and showed real dedication by spending her playtimes typing up her story.

Lydia's story is called The Girls and a Dragon

Jewel and her family live near the ocean and mountains.

She has a smelly step mum, a funny dad and an older annoying brother.

Jewel believes in dragons and her brother thinks she’s so babyish and silly.

But what if they’re real?
